You know, there's a lot of bad going on in the world right now: political unrest, climate change, The Kardashians being on its 6th season, and honestly, I was letting it get to me. I was letting the world bring me down and I decided that I needed to treat myself to some hummus and gyros in what I thought was a feeble attempt to make myself feel better. But then...after I was sat down...and I took that first bite of my pita dipped in ground beef hummus...my whole world changed. That bite made me see the world anew. Flowers were blooming. Children were laughing. A guy on the street randomly gave me a 20. This food was what I had been missing from the world. It fills me with such joy to know Hummus Mediterranean Cafe exists and is always available to me when I need it. And of course I must shout out my amazing server Alex. You know, as a fellow Alex myself, I thought it was an okay name, but after experiencing Alex's impeccable service, I clearly pale in comparison. He is a fine server and I'd give 10 stars if I could. When the state of the world puts me in this state again, I will happily be back to my new favorite spot!
What a great diamond to find on a chilly night. Wife and I stopped in for a quick bite and thanks to the hospitality of the owner and staff, ended up eating some of the most delicious food we have had in a while. We started off with the Garlic Hummus and the pita bread that was served with it was warm and soft (great way to start the meal). Ordered the Gyro plate and got a Greek salad instead fo fries and everything was extremely tasty (wife said it was some of the best meat she has had). We ended up sampling their chicken skewers (very nice taste and tender), lamb chops (extremely flavorful), tabbouleh (very fresh) and falafel (warm and crunchy). We are already looking forward to the next time we will return for another good meal and sure to be good service.
We want to go for Asian food, but they closed on Monday, so we want to try this Mediterranean Cafe. The food came out surprised us, looks good taste good, the service friendly and professional, the price very reasonable, highly recommended, and will definitely come back with more friends.
Great experience at Hummus today for take out. My wife and I got two gyro plates (lunch portion) and were very pleased with both the quality of food and the service. The front desk attendant Jasmine was very kind and helpful. Our food arrived in under 10 minutes and we were on our way. Would highly suggest trying out this place!
My wife took me to this place and it worth it , really love atmosphere the ofot arabic music and food was delicious big like i will take my wife there on our next date.
My husband and I had a delightful lunch today here. Rahma was our server and was very attentive and efficient. We loved everything about this meal. Muhammara is our new favorite food thanks to Amar bringing us out some to try! Very welcoming atmosphere and we appreciated the wonderful hospitality and service. Food was delicious! Everything! We will definitely be back. Turkish coffee and tea with mint leaves were both great. I already found the tea to buy for home! Thank you guys for a good experience! I feel that is rare to find these days!
If you’re looking for the best hummus in town, head over to Hummus Mediterranean Cafe ASAP! Don’t judge, but I ate here two days in a row – it was that good. Although I’m not much of a meat eater, the chicken was seasoned and grilled to perfection. The atmosphere is also quiet and relaxing. I love this place! Highly recommend!
We like to dine in again and again. The food absolutely delicious every time and good portions. The service is always great! Alex was our server and he was awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant
